ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Neptune embodies raw authority and elemental power. This is not a classical, idealized god — it is a force emerging from matter itself. The face appears carved by water, pressure, and time, as if sculpted by the depths rather than by human hands.
The composition feels unstable, almost in motion. Forms dissolve into one another, evoking currents, turbulence, and erosion. Neptune is not fully revealed; he emerges and withdraws simultaneously, reinforcing a sense of dominance through mystery. You do not face him directly — you encounter his presence.
The restrained monochromatic palette amplifies gravity and seriousness. Each cut line functions like a ripple or fracture, suggesting that power here is not explosive, but inexorable. This is slow violence. Absolute control. The kind that does not need to prove itself.
Neptune speaks about mastery over chaos, about sovereignty exercised in silence. It is a work that commands respect rather than seeking attention — a visual statement of authority, endurance, and depth.
About the artist
I am a French stencil artist whose work explores contrast — between instinct and precision, chaos and control, heritage and contemporary expression. My practice combines spontaneous, textured backgrounds with meticulously hand-cut multi-layer stencils.
I have exhibited alongside major figures of the urban art scene such as L’Atlas, C215, Carole B, Wawapod, and Jo Di Bona at the SPERA ART FAIR.
My work has been collected throughout Europe, with more than 300 artworks sold internationally.
I also create live painting performances for major institutions and brands, including Disneyland Paris.
Each artwork is a unique original. While stencils may be reused, every background is created instinctively, ensuring that no two works are ever identical. My approach revisits iconic figures and mythological archetypes through emotional tension, restraint, and visual impact.
