Japanese travel altar “Zushi”, very rare with three Buddhas, an authentic portable lacquered and gilded wooden altar dating from the late Edo period to early 20th century, with the central Nichiren meditating monk statue, Shakyamuni and Prabhutaratna flanking the central Gohonzon mandala, dimensions 9 x 9 x 8 cm, in good condition with minor wear to gilding and sculpture.
