AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Beautiful and large Delft earthenware plate, produced in the Delftware factory De Paauw in Delft in the first half of the 18th century (circa 1720–1740). The plate is richly decorated in typical Delft blue with additions in green and iron-red, executed in a refined floral and foliate motif.
The center presents a composition of stylized flowers, surrounded by a wide border with alternating floral cartouches and geometric panels, characteristic of the decorations from this period. The painting is strong and balanced, with clear brushwork and a harmonious use of color.
Origin: Delft, the Netherlands
Bakery: De Paauw Porcelain Factory
Dating: ca. 1720–1740
Material: Tinglazuur earthenware.
Diameter: 30.5 cm
The condition is very good for its age, with small missing pieces at the edge but otherwise in very good condition.
This is an attractive collectible and a beautiful example of high-quality early-18th-century Delftware, suitable for both collectors and enthusiasts of antique Dutch ceramics.
