Alexis Zorba the Greek first edition 1946 signed by Nikos Kazantzakis a very rare work, the best of Kazantzakis, originally written in 1941 but due to World War II it was published in 1946. As soon as the book was published, it became world famous and was translated into many languages. The work became more widely known when in 1964 the film by Michael Cacoyannis Zorba the Greek was filmed, starring Anthony Quinn. The condition of the book is extremely good, almost impenetrable, with a brand new cloth cover with gold letters on the spine, it is not wrinkled or creased nor is it dirty, it has two underlines in its title that are barely visible. An extremely rare book with the genuine signature of Kazantzakis that really should not be missing from any serious collector is a timeless investment....
