Lot of 66 wine labels from Italy, including 22 Vino della Pace labels designed by renowned artists and 44 labels from a Basel 1970 wine-tasting collection, all in very good condition.

Collection of wine labels including 22 labels of the Wine of Peace designed by great artists and 44 labels collected in a book relating to the day of tastings of Trentino and Alto Adige wines held in October 1970 in Basel.
The Wine of Peace was a wine from the cooperative Cantina Produttori Cormòns in the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, produced from 1985 to 2012. In the 2.5 hectare vineyard “Vigna del Mondo,” about 600 grape varieties from around the world were cultivated and from them the cuvée “Wine of Peace” was vinified. The labels were designed annually by three renowned artists. All the heads of state in the world and also the Pope (about 200) received three bottles annually.
