Description from the seller

Superb decorative ceramic plate with cloisonné enamel, made by the prestigious Émaux de Longwy manufacturer (France), and entirely hand-decorated.

The polychrome floral decor stands out against an intense turquoise blue background, emblematic of Longwy productions from the second half of the 20th century. The stylized floral motifs, outlined with fine, slightly raised contours, evoke the oriental and Persian inspiration that made the manufacture renowned.

The enamel displays a regular, intentional crackle pattern typical of this traditional technique. The back bears the official seal 'Hand-decorated – Émaux de Longwy – France – Made in France,' guaranteeing the authenticity of the piece.

Decorative wall plate with an original hanging system. Very good condition, without cracks or restoration.

Ideal piece for a collector of French ceramics or an enthusiast of 20th-century decorative arts.
