Sammy No 2 is part of the series: 'The Dog Cabinet'. It features a print on Epson Fine Art, finished with matte acrylic and aluminum. The size is 24x30 cm, and the photo is framed in a black wooden frame.
The Hondenkabinet originated from a daily observation: at the park where the photographer lives, dogs are walked day in and day out. Ursula became fascinated by the people behind the leashes and invited the dog owners with their pets into her studio. For some, a dog is a child, a full-fledged family member—almost human. They are photographed just as they are: with dignity, character, and a touch of theatrical grandeur.
The series received attention in LINDA Magazine, among other outlets. Ursula's studio is located in a monumental building on the IJssel in the Hanseatic city of Kampen. She exhibits her work in museums, galleries, and at international art fairs.

Passionate, sensitive and an eye for detail, light and colour, would be a nice description for Ursula's working method. She is a perfectionist, enthusiastic and diligent, she will only be satisfied when the well-known WOW factor has been achieved.
With her artworks she tries to bring her subjects forward in the purest way. Ursula transforms objects into powerful still lifes and the portraits are a reflection of a bygone time, in which every now and then a sprinkle of modern life is incorporated.
Her work is unconventional and the use of light tends towards her sources of inspiration; the paintings of Jacques-Louis David, Rembrandt and Caravaggio.
As a photographer, Ursula also tries to distinguish herself through diversity in her work and, in addition to individual creations, she also makes series, in which she lets multiple images tell one story. She was discovered, among other things, with her intriguing, tranquil still lifes: the series Plastic Vegetables’ and the series ‘House-4-Sale’. These works have been awarded various prizes, including for the series “de 100 van Rooyackers.”
