Lenie van den Bulk (born 1953) created the original 2009 oil painting See Through, an abstract multicolour work, hand signed, measuring 50 x 50 cm, from the Netherlands, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Lenie van den Bulk studied at the Willem de Koning Academy in Rotterdam (1980-1984). She exhibited many times in the Netherlands and a few times abroad.
Her oil-paintings are colourful and outspoken. Next to finely worked parts, there are rougher parts that form a mutual contrast. Her artwork is mainly evocative, with the use of colour, form and rhythm she express experiences, thoughts, and memories that have a meaning for herself, and possibly also for the spectator. She usually starts a painting without a predetermined plan and is guided by her intuition and what happens on the canvas.
This painting was inspired by the experience of what the subconscious mind sees through the 'curtain' of everyday reality.
