In this textural painting, the artist has drawn many shaded layers of blue that then open up and fade away, creating areas of light and shadow. It is the lights and shadows that reflect towards the sunset or dawn, looking towards the marine valleys. Paolo Contin has a long artistic career. He trained in the world of design and has been working in the fields of fashion and art since 1980. In 1999, he began exhibiting his works; in 2002, he held his first solo show in Padua, followed by many exhibitions in Italy and abroad, including Copenhagen, Monaco, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Buenos Aires, and Sydney.
