Can (13) - Copper, Brass - Dutch copper Kitchenalia

A beautiful collection of 13 antique Dutch copper brass lidded jugs and pots. These are miniatures of fireplace ash buckets (‘doofpot’ in Dutch)
Heigths varies from 8 to 12 cm. They have varied shapes: gourd/pear, bell-like, urn, ribbed/banded. Some have feet.

The pots are hammered copper with a warm reddish tone and visible dents, suggesting hand‑worked or well‑used metal. The lids and swings are mostly brass, giving the items a two-tone effect typical of 19th early 20th century Dutch household metalware.

This is a rare collection and perfect for (spice) storage in a farmhouse kitchen or collector’s display.
