Wall shelf unit - Steel - Late 60s

A wall-mounted shelf in the mid-century modern style, often referred to as the "String" shelf. This distinctive design, popular in the 1960s and 1970s, combined metal perforated ladders mounted to the wall with wooden shelves, creating a modular and lightweight storage system.

The original String system was designed in Sweden by Nisse Strinning in 1949, and the shelves were produced in Germany in the 1960s–70s.
