This is a rare First Edition thus copy, of Cervantes' "Don Quixote", translated into English by Charles Jarvis. This edition features numerous wood engravings by the renowned illustrator Arthur Boyd Houghton. This copy remains in Very Good condition and it would make a great addition to any decorative library or private collection.
CONDITION & FEATURES

- Rare first edition thus - undated, circa 1925
- Red cloth boards & spine
- Gilt titles to the spine
- Numerous black & white illustrations
- Pages are clean & straight
- Text-block is complete
- Binding and hinges are secure
- Boards are straight & bright - some minor marks
- Spine is straight & bright
- Neat previous owner's name to Front Flyleaf
- Dust Jacket is generally neat - a little marked and worn around the edges
