Description from the seller

This is a very rare First Printing, 1st Edition of J.R.R. Tolkien’s; “The Silmarillion". The stories intertwine with Tolkien's most famous works; "The Lord Of The Rings" and "The Hobbit", and this title has become one of his most loved and collectable. This copy is possibly unread and it remains in Fine condition and includes the folding map at the rear and the original dust jacket, which is near perfect. It displays beautifully on a shelf and would make an excellent addition to any decorative library or private collection.
