Patek Philippe / Sold by Franz Michaelsen, Rome: Yellow gold men's pocket watch with manual winding (1891-1915)

Men's pocket watch (in working order) from Patek Philippe, privately owned.

Franz Michaelsen moved to Rome in 1891 and took over Carl Kobell's shop in Via delle Convertite. In 1915, Franz Michaelsen closed the shop again due to anti-German sentiment and left Rome.
Therefore, the watch offered here can be assumed to have been manufactured and sold between 1891 and 1915. No inquiry was made to the manufacturer's archives.

The original watch box and certificate are included in this offer.
