Katje met jukebox, a 2020+ original oil painting by Dutch-Danish artist Borgen Lindhardt, hand-signed and sold with a blank wooden frame, in a post-impressionist style with a multicolour palette depicting a sleeping kitten leaning against a small jukebox; visible area 12 × 17 cm, panel 12.5 × 17.5 cm, frame approx. 13.5 × 19 × 1 cm, origin Netherlands, in excellent condition.

Painted with a lively touch, a sleeping kitten leaning against a small jukebox. Original work by the Dutch-Danish artist Borgen Lindhardt.
Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts Maastricht (1996). Uses Borgen Lindhardt as a signature name and is known for her 'kimono series,' inspired by the work of G.H. Breitner. Creates oil paintings where old masters are combined with personal elements (cat, painting supplies, and fantasy figures) to form a new spectacle. Her style is characterized by a visible thick brushstroke. She shifts from detailed, imaginative, and playful work to fluid, sketch-like paintings.
Comes directly from the artist.
Framed in a plain wooden frame with small signs of wear. Free.
Will be well packed and shipped with track & trace.
The painting is protected with a layer of retouching varnish. After drying time (about a year), please apply a final varnish yourself to preserve the gloss and color.
