The nature of the technique I use makes each piece in the series a unique and unrepeatable work.
The work consists of a pyramidal prism, interrupted three-quarters of the way by a hollow portion. I consider this work a vindication of the Self over the trials of existence, but also an innate longing upward. Toward a metamorphosis of form into pure energy. Matter transforming into spirit. The hollow portion that interrupts the shape's ascent to the summit is characterized as a set of parts that, unused, remain imprinted as empty traces of past experiences.
