Description
This black-and-white photograph instantly captivates with its visual power and conceptual audacity. It features a female figure with an enigmatic allure, where traditional religious codes confront a decidedly modern and fashion-oriented aesthetic.
The dark veil, the cross delicately resting on the chest, and the slightly open white shirt create a striking contrast between sacred and profane. The gaze, intensified by glasses with a contemporary design, confronts the viewer with a troubling assurance. Every detail is mastered: the texture of the fabrics, the soft light that sculpts the face, the pose at once intimate and self-assured.
The choice of black and white strengthens the timeless dimension of the work and gives it artistic depth reminiscent of editorial fashion photography and contemporary conceptual art. This image questions symbols, upends conventions, and invites a personal, free, and bold reading.
An ideal work for:
• Collectors of contemporary art and conceptual photography
• Fans of bold, iconic images
• Modern interiors, galleries, creative spaces, or private collections
This photograph is not merely an image: it is an artistic stance, a dialogue between tradition and modernity, a work that leaves a lasting impression on the mind.
Dimensions : 45 x 80 cm
Regarding my background, I am a passionate Parisian photographer, self-taught but deeply nourished by art and light. For several years, I have dedicated my gaze to capturing what is unspoken: emotions, suspended moments, the contrasts between shadow and light. Light is for me a language, a guiding thread that connects my works — it shapes, reveals, and sometimes conceals, much like human emotions.
My work has been showcased in several group exhibitions in Paris and the regions, as well as at events dedicated to contemporary photography. Each series is an intimate exploration of the sensitive and poetic aspects of everyday life.
Authentic photography: AI only for grain and texture.
