This is a rare first edition thus copy, of "Aesop's Fables", featuring 8 tipped-in colour plates and 110 illustrations by the famous artist, Harrison Weir. The book remains in Fair condition and it would make a great addition to any children's illustrated library or private collection.

- Beautiful decorative Front Board & Spine
- 8 tipped-in colour plates + 110 black & white illustrations
- Pages are generally straight and clean - some age related marks
- Text-block is complete except for Half Title & Front Free Endpaper
- Binding and Hinges are secure
- Boards are straight - minor wear and a few marks
- Spine is straight & neat - small split at the head
- No inscriptions or scribbles
