Veronika Obushikhina’s Connected 5 XL is a hand-signed original acrylic painting on canvas (80 × 110 cm, depth 3 cm) from 2020, in a contemporary style, shipped rolled without a stretcher frame.
Description from the seller
In this work, four abstract figures form a unified composition where color becomes a metaphor for differences and individuality. The white, black, yellow, and blue silhouettes exist side by side, maintaining their own expressiveness while at the same time creating harmony within the shared rhythm. The subtle texture of the background creates a sense of space and air, allowing the forms to "breathe" and interact.
A thin double line — black and white — connects the figures, passing through them as a sign of unifying force. It symbolizes a fragile yet strong unity that manifests both in joy and in trials. Here, difference does not divide but becomes a condition for mutual balance and resilience.
The painting is made with acrylic on canvas. The artwork size is 80×110 cm, with a depth of 3 cm, and the edges are painted to match the composition. The total canvas size, including borders, is 90×120 cm.
The painting will be shipped without a stretcher frame, rolled in a cardboard tube for safe transportation.
About the artist:
Veronika Obushikhina is a contemporary artist working in the genre of abstract art, living in Spain. Her work is based on minimalism and strict geometric forms, combining bright, saturated colors and contrasts. In her pieces, every line and shape matters, where simplicity and clarity of composition are the main elements. The artist strives to express the idea that true strength lies in simplicity. For her, simplicity is not a limitation, but a liberation from unnecessary complexity and distracting details. She creates a space where the viewer can focus on the core elements — form, color, contrast — and feel their purity and power.
Simplicity of form and bright colors are Veronika's way of expressing ideas with maximum strength and directness. Through concise geometric shapes and vibrant contrasts, she aims to draw attention to the essence of the work, where each element has its own meaning. Simplicity allows the viewer to easily perceive the work while also providing space for deep interpretation and personal sensations. Bright colors emphasize the dynamics, enhance the emotional response, and make the painting vivid and energetic, creating a visual force that resonates with the viewer.
Veronika has participated in several national exhibitions, and her paintings are in private collections across Europe and America, where they attract the attention of contemporary art collectors with their purity and expressiveness.
