Rare Silver Bookmark / Stylet for Office by Goldsmith Hippolyte THOMAS (Paris, 1845-1855)
Exceptional piece of French silverware from the 19th century, made by the famous master silversmith Hippolyte Thomas, active in Paris between 1845 and 1855.
Hallmarks: Presence of the Mercure head export hallmark (Silver 950/1000) and the master punch 'HT' with a rose button and a star, certifying authenticity and Parisian origin.
Design: Elegant work adorned with a hand-engraved monogram in high-precision Gothic letters. The piece is finished with an original suspension ring.
Dimensions: 20 cm in length.
Weight: 22 grams.
State: Superb condition of preservation, with its original patina. No restoration.
