Magnificent antique frame in carved and gold-leafed wood, with a harmonious rectangular shape.
Very beautiful continuous decorative motif of stylized foliage (likely ivy or vines) interwoven with clusters of fruit and small berries, all finely carved with a great deal of relief and detail.
The antique gold leaf is well patinated, with pretty nuances of natural wear and a charming aged effect that adds to its authentic character.
The frame has a classic profile with several steps:

large ornate central frieze
inner bevelled strip and gilded flat strip
