Description from the seller
Michael Fantozzi is an international artist and the original creator of the sarcastic clay fish that are conquering the world.
From its renowned artistic research, the 'Little Light Fish' now emerges—a new series of illuminated LED works: unique sculptures that combine craftsmanship, light, and visual poetry. Each piece is entirely handcrafted without molds, making every creation one of a kind.
Made with high-quality materials—from clay to acrylics, and zircons that bring light and preciousness—Michael Fantozzi's works are today sold and collected all over the world.
Each artwork is titled, numbered, and signed, and comes with its corresponding certificate of authenticity. It is supplied complete with a frame with plexiglass and is ready to hang. Shipping is carried out with protective packaging to ensure maximum safety during transport.
Large-scale works have been exhibited at the Milan Biennale, the Rome Biennale, the Florence Biennale, and in numerous exhibitions throughout Europe.
The artist was also awarded in Montecitorio as Italian Excellence Abroad, a recognition that demonstrates the international impact of his work.
Her creations deliver a powerful and current message about pollution, particularly marine pollution. Through her decorated fish adorned with symbolic objects such as cigarettes, chewing gum, bottles, and musical instruments, the artist gives voice to marine animals, silent victims of human impact. The visual language is ironic, provocative, and deeply reflective, inviting an urgent and necessary awareness.
