A blown and moulded glass goblet with acid-etched decoration depicting Brandenburg arms and the inscription Vive L'electeur de Brandebourg, dating to the 17th–18th century, 29.5 cm high and 10 cm in diameter, origin Germany, in good used condition with minor aging signs and a 19th‑century restored foot.
Description from the seller
Huge Armored Goblet.
In blown and molded glass, with acid-etched decoration, representing the arms of Brandenburg and with the inscription: "Long live the Elector of Brandenburg".
It should date from the 17th to the 18th century, a native of Bohemia.
It's in excellent condition, except for the foot, which is an adaptation/restoration from the 19th century—a restoration very well done, very solid.
A spectacular piece, museum-quality.
