A Japanese Kyoto ware (Kyo-yaki) square ceramic vase by Osamu Suzuki (1926–2001), an important post-war ceramic artist based in Kyoto.
This piece is characterized by its soft cream-toned glaze and clean, architectural square form, expressing Suzuki’s modern sensibility rooted in traditional Japanese ceramic practice. The restrained surface and balanced proportions give the work a quiet yet confident presence.
The vase comes with its original wooden storage box (tomobako).
