Three individual works of 'The Archer's Register', edited by Fred T Follett, published in London by Horace Cox, 1891-1893. Scarce.
The Archer's Register ran from 1864-1915 with a hiatus from 1868-76. Initially edited by James Sharpe (1864-88) then Fred T. Follett (1889-97), and finally Col. H. Walrond (1898-1915). It containes a wide range of content, including competition results, society listings, advertisements, poetry, and original papers.
8vo, bound in publisher's blind-stamped green cloth, gilt lettered to spines and upper boards. Replacement advertising endpapers. Collation: viii, 202pp. vi, 232pp. vi, 238pp.
Condition: The bindings are holding and in good condition, scuffed and marked to upper board of 1893 edition, corners a touch bumped and with the spines rubbed. 1893 edition cracked to inner hinge at pastedown. Contents are holding firmly and in good clean condition, light dust and toning, foxed to foremargins. Off-setting to titles. Please see images for further condition.
