Born in 1944 in Krutorozno (USSR), Alexander Grosman is a contemporary artist whose work is part of the post-war sculpture and painting lineage. Trained in a rapidly changing artistic context, he early develops a singular visual language, blending abstract forms, cosmic symbolism, and noble materials. Throughout his career he has lived and worked in several countries, notably Israel and Mexico, where he is active as a sculptor. Grosman forges an immediately recognizable aesthetic: stylized silhouettes, pared-down volumes, interplay of textures and patinas.
Their works — bronze, stone, marble or mixed media compositions — explore the themes of birth, metamorphosis, and the relationship between humanity and the universe. Some emblematic pieces, such as Cosmic Marriage (1990), bear witness to this pursuit of balance between raw energy and spiritual harmony.
Active on the international stage, Alexander Grosman has repeatedly seen his creations reach public auctions, mainly in Europe, notably in Germany. His sculptures and paintings captivate collectors and enthusiasts of contemporary art with their expressive power, technical refinement, and timeless quality.
Today, Grosman’s work continues to attract attention for its ability to unite sculptural power and visual poetry, making him an artist sought after by galleries and collectors in search of strong and deeply symbolic pieces.
