Vitra - Charles Eames - Chair - Aluminium, Leather - EA 119 Leather

High-back chair in excellent condition, model EA 119 in natural leather, created by Ray & Charles Eames for the Vitra brand. As early as 1958, when the chair was designed, the designer couple challenged conventions and carved out their own path. With this chair, they eliminated the traditional inner frame with foam padding and a black leather finish.
The EA 119 chair base is made of chrome-plated aluminum, as is its frame, which is lightweight and durable. The chair features a tall, wide backrest and a well-sized seat. It can be adjusted with a tilt mechanism to recline and locked in a forward position. The seat height is also adjustable. The leather has a uniform grain pattern. Armrests on both sides enhance the chair's comfort.
