This work combines painting and object, transforming the painterly gesture into a conceptual installation. The brush physically embedded in the canvas halts time in an eternal 'here and now,' suspending the creative act in its very becoming. The broad and fluid brushstroke becomes the protagonist of a frozen action, transformed from a fleeting gesture into a sculptural presence.

The artist plays with the ambiguity between complete and incomplete, evoking the memory of the gesture and questioning the role of the object in the artistic process.
