Description from the seller
Glenfiddich IPA – Innovative Single Malt Scotch Whisky
A whisky that breaks the mould: Glenfiddich IPA is the world’s first single malt Scotch whisky finished in India Pale Ale (IPA) casks, born from the creativity and bold spirit of the Glenfiddich distillery.
A Unique and Audacious Concept
Part of Glenfiddich’s renowned Experimental Series, this whisky is the result of an innovative collaboration between Malt Master Brian Kinsman and a local Speyside craft brewer. An IPA was specially brewed to season oak casks, in which the whisky was then finished, imparting a distinctive and refreshing aromatic profile.
Nose
Fresh and inviting, with notes of green apple, pear, and spring blossoms, enhanced by subtle hints of aromatic hops and fresh herbs.
Palate
A lively and zesty opening, revealing bright citrus notes, followed by creamy vanilla and a refined touch of fresh hops that clearly reflects the IPA influence.
Finish
Smooth and lingering, with a delicate echo of green hops, achieving a perfect balance between Speyside tradition and contemporary freshness.
Who Is It For?
This single malt appeals equally to whisky enthusiasts seeking an original tasting experience and to craft beer lovers curious to discover an innovative fusion of flavours.
