Oil painting on panel by Laura Muolo, titled LADY IN PINK, created in 2025, an original edition portrait in Realism with pink, black and grey tones, measuring 37.5 × 23 cm and weighing 0.5 kg, hand-signed and shipped directly from the artist with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
Oil portrait on panel.
This portrait draws inspiration from the women of the 1900s. For this reason I wanted to create a cracked background (gluing the paper onto a Masonite panel) and paint over it, obtaining a particularly distinctive antique effect.

ARTIST NEWS
Laura Muolo, born in 1975, is a Milanese by birth and a Rimini native by adoption. She has been approaching art as a self-taught artist since 2013. Her initial medium is graphite, with which she immediately seeks to achieve the realism of faces, later exploring other mediums such as pastel and painting.
He has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Italy and internationally, and has exhibited his work in major Italian museums. His works are included in several private collections worldwide. He has held four solo exhibitions to date. He collaborated on the cover of a poetry book in 2015 and on the cover of a philosophy book in 2023.
Winner and finalist of several national and international art competitions.
Laura describes her work as follows: "I prefer oil painting for its reflective nature: it allows me to build the image step by step, changing, refining, perfecting. Sometimes I use pastel on cardboard to immediately capture the essence of the subject, directly and instinctively. My style is realistic, but my painting speaks of inner worlds, hidden emotions, and stories to be deciphered.
My works move between dreamlike landscapes and figures immersed in their own thoughts, accompanied by shadows that reveal what is unseen: desires, fears, memories. Each scene begins with photographs of young subjects and takes shape through symbols, objects, and animals that give voice to a memory or a profound feeling. Painting, for me, is a journey into the dimension of the unsaid.
