Description from the seller

Unique artwork by ERIC LESPINASSE - 1/1 - Exclusively on Catawiki
Title of the work: #33 - NeoCubism - XXL
Giclée print on canvas - from the series "NeoCubism" 2024.
Original canvas from the artist's studio by Eric Lespinasse.

Elegance, modernity, and high quality are the words that best define the finish of this work.

Presentation of the Work
"Néocubism" is a series of vibrant digital paintings paying homage to the great masters of cubism while reinventing this movement in the contemporary era. Through a play of fragmented forms, multiple perspectives, and intense colors, the artist explores human perception in all its complexity. Each work deconstructs and reconstructs reality, inviting an emotional rather than rational reading of the world. Faces transform into chromatic architectures, reflecting the multiplicity of the soul and thought. "Néocubism" thus celebrates creative freedom, imagination, and the infinite richness of human vision.

Year of production 2025
Unique 1/1 artwork numbered and signed by the artist on the back of the artwork.

A peripheral white margin of 3 cm is added to the dimensions of the artwork, allowing the buyer the possibility of mounting it on a wooden frame.

Technique used & creative process:
The artist primarily uses the Adobe suite (Illustrator – Photoshop – Lightroom) to create the base of the artwork. AI generative tools, such as Midjourney, can be used to modify certain textures, backgrounds, integrations into a scene, etc…
A specific tool called 'Mégapixel', an artificial intelligence, is systematically used for scaling, allowing the editing of large XXL formats.

Seller's Story

Born in 1974, Eric Lespinasse is an established French artist based in Paris. His work can be found in numerous private collections around the world, as well as in a multitude of professional premises (restaurants, medical practices, cinemas, real estate agencies, kitchen shops, tattoo parlors, etc.). A photographer for 25 years, he is also a painter and digital designer. His works are known for their character, where the incidence of light makes them almost painterly. They are a skilful blend of poetry and homage to the world and the human being. His technique is a combination of traditional photography and digital image editing. This combination enables her to create unique, emotionally engaging works of art that faithfully represent her vision, influences and sensitivity. The role of any photographer is to capture and deliver to the public an emotional panel of each moment he captures. This is how he came to create "photographic poetry", where each of his delicate, poetic images projects you into the art and culture of the ephemeral world around us, frozen for eternity, transforming the evanescent moment into a timeless work of witness. It's with this same sensitivity and heart that he invests each of his creations, in all artistic fields, from photography to the creation of digital works.
