The artist, far from schools and trends, creates his works as a free man, following solely his own ideals and personal goals.
In this painting with a textured base, the artist has drawn many colored shades that open up and then vanish, creating zones of light and others of shadow. The colored bands recall the colors of nature, in spring when everything wants to return to life. Winter is deprived of the color of flowers, but the artist thinks of the colors that will come, dreaming of spring.

Paolo Contin has a long artistic career. He trained in the world of design and has been working in the fields of fashion and art since 1980. In 1999, he began exhibiting his works; in 2002, he held his first solo show in Padua, followed by many exhibitions in Italy and abroad, including Copenhagen, Monaco, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Buenos Aires, and Sydney.
