Artur Sudak (born 1965), signed on plate and with a handwritten signature, presents the oil painting 'Media' on an HDF plate, a 2025 original Neo-Impressionist landscape from Poland, 60 x 80 cm, in perfect condition, sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
“Media” is a fascinating study of the contemporary dominance of information over reality. Artur Sudak presents here a monumental, old-fashioned television receiver mounted on organic, almost biological legs, striding through a barren landscape. Human figures walking in the shadow of this machine seem to follow the image displayed on the screen, which becomes their only horizon. The image, painted on a solid HDF board, is characterized by an extraordinary depth of mood and masterful handling of light, especially in the section of the sky surrounding the central monolith. It is a mature work by an artist with 25 years of experience, combining retro aesthetics with a timely question about the influence of media on our perception of the world.
Colors may differ slightly depending on the lighting.
Born in 1965. A painter, self-taught artist, graphic designer.
