Lot of crystal glasses from Baccarat or Saint Louis — Ecaille model listed in the 1911 catalog — some glasses have a spindle-shaped foot, others a straight foot.
Completely handmade, hence a few imperfections—scales carved inward on the bottom of the calyx.
No maker's mark. Before 1936, the two glassmakers Baccarat and Saint-Louis produced the same models in the same catalog without any distinctive marks. From 1936 onward, each produced its own models—its own catalog and its own hallmark.
These two Manufactures are known worldwide for their excellence — over the years they have managed to transmit their ancestral knowledge.
