Who am I?

I am a visual artist from the Netherlands, drawing inspiration from art history, pop culture, and everything everyday in life. From love to music to fashion. As an artist, I put a twist on well-known images and flip them around to create something entirely new.

I find art in general too serious and want to bring back humor and beauty. Art is life.

I come from the south of the Netherlands. This is close to the Belgian and German borders, an international environment with many different cultures. My first experiences with art began in elementary school with making portraits, comic drawings, and doodles, and later I started with graffiti.

In 2014, I completed art school in Maastricht. My work has been exhibited on the street and during exhibitions, and it is now also frequently sold to enthusiasts via Catawiki, which has placed my work in many private collections, from China to America.

Painting is for me the ultimate freedom and the way to give meaning to the world.

Shipping

All artworks are shipped within 3 working days and are wrapped in double-layer bubble plastic to protect the canvas. Afterwards, the outer box is custom-made. For shipping, I use existing boxes for the outside of the package, so I don't have to charge extra for shipping. This saves costs and is also better for reusing cardboard!
