Product Description
This lot features a delightful and rare Peanuts ceramic tea set, originally released as a promotional gift by the Japanese Sanwa Bank. The set showcases a beautiful, soft "crayon-style" illustration technique that gives the characters a nostalgic, hand-drawn aesthetic.
Design & Characters
Teapot: Features a joyful Snoopy on one side and a sweet Woodstock illustration on the reverse, both set against a blue textured background.
Cups: The set includes two "Freecups" (handleless style). One features Lucy Van Pelt on a red background, and the other features Charlie Brown on a green background.
Branding: Each piece prominently features the vintage Sanwa Bank logo and the official Peanuts/United Feature Syndicate, Inc. copyright mark.
Condition & Details
Material: High-quality glazed pottery/ceramic.
Color: Classic cream-white base with multi-color character decals.
Components: 1 Teapot (with lid), 2 Tea Cups, and the original presentation box.
Condition: The set appears to be in excellent vintage condition with no visible cracks or chips. The colors remain vibrant. The original box is included, which adds significant value for serious collectors (please see photos for box condition).
