Beautiful fish serving fork from the famous silver house: Maison d'Haute Orfèvrerie Christofle (Paris).
This concerns the Spatours model.
The Spatours model appeared in the first Christofle catalog in 1862.
Their generous shapes, underscored by a fine rounding, give it its softness and harmony.
This serving fork is still for sale; you would then pay (new) €330.
Heavy-duty quality, in very good condition, with a beautiful gloss,
The serving fork bears the hallmark Christofle used between 1935 and 1983; (A knight chess piece flanked by an O on the left and a C on the right).
