Description from the seller
Michael Graves kettle for Alessi 2L
Michael Graves' iconic design for Alessi, intended for use on the stovetop. Made of stainless steel with a light blue handle and a red bird whistle in ABS. This was the first product by an American designer to be included in the Alessi catalog. It paved the way for the playful design style that later characterized the 1990s, and thanks to an inspired mix of postmodern and pop idioms, it has grown into one of the internationally recognized icons of the 1980s. A bestseller at Alessi since 1985, this is actually the product with the largest number of units sold in the company's history.
