Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Hand-blown glass sculpture in the shape of a droplet, 25 cm high, 12 cm wide and 7 cm deep, weighing 2.2 kg, with a green emerald core and golden inclusions on a transparent base, dating from the 1960s–1970s and unsigned.
Description from the seller
Stunning hand-blown glass sculpture, with an elongated, asymmetrical teardrop form, featuring an intense emerald-green core pierced by filamentous gold inclusions, creating a rain-like effect or an inner, hair-like veil.
Massive transparent base, a very graphic, slender top, probable technique sommerso or incamiciato, typical of mid-century Italian design; connoisseurs will recognize the brand.
- Height: 25 cm
- Maximum width: 12 cm
- Depth: 7 cm
- Weight: 2,200 g (thick and heavy glass, premium feel)
Excellent condition for a vintage piece 50–60 years old.
No chips, cracks, pits, or breakage.
Smooth and glossy exterior surface, clean interior, intact golden inclusions.
No signs of wear, like new.
Unsigned, origin probably Italian (Murano Island or Venetian glassware from the 1960s–1970s), but without a brand or label to confirm with certainty. Style and technique very close to masters such as Seguso, Barovier & Toso, Flavio Poli, or even certain Scandinavian productions of the era.
A purely decorative / sculptural object (no utilitarian function: not a vase, not a bowl, not a candlestick). Ideal as a solo art piece on a shelf, console, or coffee table—it captures light in a spectacular way.
Photos accurately depict the item; sold as is, without aggressive cleaning.
Reinforced packaging and very secure shipping are mandatory (heavy and fragile item).
A beautiful vintage glass sculpture, elegant and luminous!
