Very beautiful drawing by the artist on the left page, done in red marker.
Original edition. Copy enriched with the half-title by a handsome autographed inscription signed by Georges Mathieu in red felt-tip: "For Max Pol Fouchet with Mathieu's thoughtful thoughts".
Original drawing by the artist in regard. One of the copies from the non-commercial edition. ''Manufacturing problems forced the publisher to put a certain number of copies on sale without a cabochon''. (in Inventaire Robert Morel). Inventaire Robert Morel, n°622.
(Forcalquier), Robert Morel, (1967). A volume in the shape of a triangle with sides of 227 mm. Edition binding in mauve satin percaline, decorated on the first plate with a composition by Georges Mathieu, stamped in red gold; spine smooth, title stamped, edges gilded.
Very good copy of "Memories and Reflections of Mathieu".

Max-Pol Fouchet, born May 1, 1913 in Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue (France) and died August 22, 1980 in Avallon, was a French poet, writer, art critic and television personality. This work is from his personal library.
