The work is an abstract representation of the details that characterize the Le Virtù series. Hirst's intention is to echo the colors of the cherry blossoms and the sky that characterize the entire series.

Fruitful is a limited edition work of 3,308 pieces created in 2020. The piece was produced to support Save the Children's "Rewrite the Future" campaign, which aimed to help Italian children overcome the difficulties caused by the closure of schools due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
