Balda Baldessa (niet bevestigd) Analogue camera
Up for auction is a sophisticated Balda Baldamatic I, a high-quality 35mm rangefinder camera produced by Balda-Werk Bünde in West Germany during the late 1950s. The Baldamatic was the flagship of Balda's 35mm line, featuring a distinct, curved modern design and advanced automation for its era.
This camera is equipped with a coupled selenium light meter (visible on the front top plate) and a bright-line rangefinder for precise focusing. It features the excellent Isco-Göttingen Color-Westanar 2.8/45mm lens set in a high-end Prontor-SVS shutter, offering a full range of speeds. A unique feature of this camera is the film advance lever located on the bottom, which contributes to its clean top-plate aesthetic.
