Corrado Michelozzi (1883-1965) - Vaso con rose

The author of this stunning painting with great pictorial energy was the post-Macchiaiolo master Corrado Michelozzi, whose works are also exhibited at the Museo Fattori in Livorno. Michelozzi excelled especially in still lifes, particularly those with floral themes; for this reason, he was nicknamed the 'Painter of Flowers'.
