About the artist 'Clc':
« After several years of practicing Chinese calligraphy, Clc gradually diversified its modes of expression by turning to watercolor, ink drawing, and collages.
For paintings, she uses the Japanese watercolor “Gansai,” which is a traditional watercolor used in Japanese arts for painting, calligraphy, and prints. It is creamier, more pigmented and opaque than Western watercolor, and it is less fluid when in contact with water; its colors are brighter and more intense after drying.
