Antique Kienzle Wall Clock – Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) – Circa 1910-1920
Description: We are proud to present an authentic example of early 20th-century German horology. This clock was manufactured by the legendary Kienzle Schwenningen factory during the Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) period. It is not merely a decorative piece, but a technically refined instrument with a century of history.
Technical Specifications & Features:
Movement: Original German Kienzle movement. It has undergone a full service (overhaul), including cleaning, oiling, and calibration. The clock is in excellent working order and keeps time accurately.
Striking Mechanism: A melodic chime system with 3 hammers and 3 resonating rods. It produces a deep, noble sound characteristic of pre-1920s models.
Pendulum: Heavy lens-style pendulum featuring a precision adjustment scale on the regulating nut, allowing for perfect timekeeping adjustments at home.
Case: Crafted from solid wood, preserving its natural grain and texture. Features a classic, dignified design with hand-carved decorative elements on the crown and brackets.
Glasswork: The lower part of the door features an exquisite beveled glass vitrail. The faceted edges beautifully refract light, emphasizing the movement of the pendulum.
