Original oil-on-canvas work, 31 × 24 cm, signed by Giuseppe Bonora De Metri, Italian painter known for a figurative poetics with a strong symbolic and surreal emphasis.
The work, titled “Souvenir,” depicts a dreamlike seascape: a red umbrella suspended in the sky, a small green boat on the shore, and a shoreline built through intense and unreal chromatic tones. The composition, played on stark contrasts and suspended atmospheres, evokes a surrealist sensibility of twentieth‑century origin, with evident references to the language of symbols and memory.
The painting is signed on the front, at the bottom right, and is titled and signed also on the back, where the handwritten inscription appears:
