The Line, created in 1969, is a character conceived by Osvaldo Cavandoli. The cartoon features a little man who traverses a virtually infinite line, of which he is also an integral part.
The character encounters numerous obstacles along the way and often turns to the drawer to have the solution to his problems drawn for him.

The techniques used make it impossible to produce two identical copies,
