Description from the seller

This is a large-format print (listed dimensions may vary slightly) from a limited edition of my Coastal Illusions series. Inspired by the work of Michael Kenna and Josef Hoflehner, movement is stilled and captured as a moment in time. Another world, another image, existing only in a world where time can be manipulated. The emptiness, stillness, and timeless harmony of the coast, captured visually.

The photo is offered in different formats and editions. The total number of views of the same image will never exceed 30.

The photo is printed on Fujifilm Digital Professional DP II Lustre paper with a very fine surface texture, with a white border around it, and is therefore very suitable and easy to frame.

Includes a certificate of authenticity and a label with the artist's signature on the back of the photo.

Due to its large size, the photo is shipped rolled in a sturdy tube. The photo is carefully wrapped in bleached white tissue paper.

Seller's Story

Reality is an endless labyrinth of images. A photo makes a part of it visible and thus allows interaction between photographer and viewer. My photography starts with an inspiring reality to which I add my imagination. In my head, reality changes into images that I want to capture in photos. Each work is a frozen moment in a story that continues to evolve. I see beauty in powerful forms of installations and constructions and want to make it visible. I stand still and experience space, infinity, peace and quiet. The subjects and elements are different, but my need is the same, the aesthetic beauty and what I experience, feel and see reveal in photos. Something is created that was not there before. My photos thus become an extension, but at the same time a part of reality, with my interpretation and perspective added to it, but also my feeling and experience. Perspective, crop, use of color, disturbing elements that have to disappear. They are all parts of the choice process and means in my photography to create an image as imagined in my head, just as words create a poem and notes form music. Reality becomes an image, an image becomes a photo, a new part of reality, ready to share with spectators with their own experience. A photo that offers space to connect from your own imagination, emotions and feelings. Photography is autobiographical, I can't take pictures without being who I am. Each photo is a reflection of how I am and how I think and the result of the process that goes on in my head. With each new image you can see more and more of who I am, but never completely, development continues. Curious about what's to come.
