First edition, and printing of this fascinating travelogue guide to Holland, described by Beatrix Jungman who shares her observations and explorations of various cities and areas in the region, including Utrecht, Overysel, and Groningen among others.
The book is wonderfully illustrated with 75 striking full page colour plates, captioned on the tissue guards, by Nico Jungman. Published by Adam and Charles Black, London 1904. Publisher's original blue cloth, with gilt lettering and superbly designed by Nico Jungman, image of orange tree blocked in gilt and colours to upper cover. Spine lettered in gilt. Top page edges gilt.

Condition
The book is beautifully designed and illustrated. External covers are slightly faded, and with light wear at corners, edges, and at head and foot of spine. Internally the book is in very good condition. A printed name within neat label on inside front cover page. Pages are clean and unmarked. The colour plates are bright and in very nice condition (Please see pictures).
