Description from the seller
Young artist exhibited at the Centre Pompidou in September 2025 on the occasion of the day dedicated to Young French Creation, Laurent Anastay-Ponsolle is a French expressionist artist born in 1982. Drawing, painting, collage, performance are the languages he explores with strength and spontaneity.
This work is an oil painting on bare canvas with touches of oil pastels. Taken as a whole, it has a very “raw,” “stripped,” and “emotional” quality, traits typical of German figurative Expressionism, a movement with which the artist fully identifies.
The artwork will be shipped on its frame, in a box with bubble wrap so that you can hang it directly at your home, at no additional cost. Fast and careful shipping. It is also accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
